The SeceuroShield 60 is a very strong, tried and tested, roller shutter door. Using a double skinned extruded aluminium slat rather than a lighter weight double skinned foam filled slat this curtian type offers great resistance to force and is secure in basic form. The slats are far heavier and stronger as they are extruded and this is possibly one of the strongest roller shutter doors for the size ranges covered. This roller shutter door is also used as a security shutter over doors and windows and is presented in our online shop under 'security shutters - roller'. it was originally developed many years ago as a security shutter and is offered here for use as an electric roller door.
This is a made to measure shutter manufactured to the millimetre as required at no extra cost. It is a 'Continental' build style in terms of the way the guides and endplate are secured together and size references for pricing and ordering are the Overall Width and Overall Height, including the guides and endplate/hood cover. Simply be aware of the guide width either side and the endplate/hood cover size as these are in the ordering sizes.
Using a high quality, 240V electric tube motor drive, this roller door has all major components and mechanics neatly built inside the endplates and guides, with nothing sitting outside the dimensions for the width and height.
Standard control for any of the electric commercial roller doors is a 'hold to run' wall mounted rocker switch, to be situated inside the building and to control the up and down movement of the shutter without the need for safety devices. This is the 'dead man' control system and the rocker switch must be in full view of the curtain to comply.
You can add external controls such as a simple key switch for operation from outside the building.
Remote control operation is also an option with a safety edge detection system then included for compliance with basic legal requirements.
Using a 240V tube motor does mean the general accepted maximum number of daily operatons is less than 30. Any more then look at industrial motor drive door models.
Prefinished in a range of very high quality powdercoat colour options, this shutter can also be finished in almost any RAL or BS paint colour reference if required.
The slats in the curtain are finished on both sides the same colour.
Medium to higher security domestic, commercial and industrial applications, particularly where aesthetics are important, simply because this is a very nice looking shutter when closed. The profile for the curtain incorporates a thin line detail on the front face and each slat sits perfectly true with the adjacent slats because of the high quality of build.
Lower to medium operations per day (around 30 maximum per day) using the 240V tube motor.
Roller Shutter Construction:
On a 205mm hood size the guides are 60mm wide and 29mm deep (Order size less than 1800mm high overall)
A larger guide size at 90mm wide and 34mm deep (UPH250) is available and recommended for larger shutters and better security.
Controls
Options:
External operation is normally via an external mounted key switch, which can be also mounted inside a steel box housing for additional security.
Remote control operation is also possinle wuith the addition of a safety bottom edge or safety phocell system, depending on the application and site conditions.

SeceuroShield products are guaranteed against defect of material or workmanship by SWS UK, subject to the correct installation, maintenance and operation for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
The endplate/hood cover size is dependant on the height of the door.
Up to 1800mm high including the endplates the endplate size is 205mm x 205mm
Up to 2400mm but with some variance depending on the width the endplates are 250mm x 250mm
Over 2400m high and up to around 4200mm (depending on width) the endplates are 300mm x 300mm
Maximum endplate sizes are 350mm x 350mm

be aware that if you dont have enough headroom to accomodate the full size of the endplates/hood cover it doesnt stop you having this type of door and all that happens is the drivethrough height is less when open, The full hood, which comes as standard, forms a fascia for any part of the potentially exposed sections.
