Insulated and Secure Roller Doors

The demand for insulated roller doors is increasing as energy costs go higher and higher. Keeping a factory, warehouse or any building heated for the staff and often for products inside too is getting more expensive and losing heat via external doors can be minimised with an insulated roller shutter door. Having better security from your external doors is also very important with increasing burglary on commercial premises. Security ratings could possibly become far more normal and a requirement for insurance in the future. Simply having peace of mind knowing your doors are the best possible to prevent forced entry is a great comfort. What about having both performance features in one roller door? Very easily achieved with one of our certified and security rated roller shutter doors, which also use an insulated double skinned curtain slat. Insulated double skinned steel roller shutter doors are far more secure than single skin roller doors simply because of the strength and overall integrity achieved with the stronger slat used and generally higher specification components to deal with the extra weight involved. The curtain on an insulated roller door will sit far sturdier when closed and therefore also doesn't rattle in the wind like single skin roller doors nearly always do.
