The SeceuroDoor 7501 is a reincarnation of the Seceuroshield 7501 security shutter to bring it into the family of 'Seceurodoor' steel roller door products, being roller shutters all manufactured with steel curtains only.
This is an SR1 rated, LPS1175 approved, security roller shutter, which can be used either as a door or a security shutter for larger primary doors or windows as external protection.
This model uses the more standard 22 guage steel slat in terms of the thickness of the steel. It is a galvansied steel finish as standard with powdercoat colour options available.
THIS DOOR OR SHUTTER MUST TO BE FACE FITTED INTERNALLY TO COMPLY AND ACHIEVE THE CERTIFICATION FOR THE LEVEL 1 RATING. The guides and complete roll of the curtain must be completely behind the structural opening and not visible from outside. If you choose to fit inbetween of externally then the certfication compliance is not possible
Manufactured to the millimetre as standard, this is a high quality electric operated roller shutter, using a 240V internal tube motor and constructed in a 'Continental' specification, which means the supporting endplates and guides are totally in line at the outer edges and connect together when installing to make one unit. The tube motor drive is an internal motor so not seen externally of the shutter at all, neatly doing its thing inside the steel barrel for the roller curtain.
A tube motor electric shutter is perfect for low usage applications where the door is likely to be operated less than around 10 times during the day. It also provides for the easiest and tidiest installation. Any more operations than this then you need to look at single or three phase industrial motor drive shutter doors.
This shutter uses continental style guides, which are extruded aluminium single piece sections directly fitted to the structural opening. It must be fitted inside to the internal face as most roller doors usually do, in order to comply with the testing certification.
We offer a selection of controls for the door. The most common control for any roller door is an internal push button and hold to run logic for the easiest and least complicated setting up and maintenance.
The ordering dimensions for this Continental style roller shutter are different to the Traditional builds in that you use the Overall Width and Overall Height, including the guides and endplates/hood cover for the Ordering dimensions.

This is a CONTINENTAL design build door. A roller shutter with neater style head box and aluminium gudies for higher grade installations and easier installation overall.

Please note:
A box extension is required on this shutter when the curtain weight exceeeds 172kg on a 4" axle and 134kg on a 5" axle. This will require additional space when fitting inbetween an opening and the final drawings we send for approval will show this detail and the 30mm required will not be included in the overall width dimensions.

The measuring, pricing and ordering dimensions for any electric roller shutter door with an electric tube motor drive is by the OVERALL WIDTH and OVERALL HEIGHT including the guides for the width and endplates for the height. This is regardless of whether it is a Contintental or Traditional build arrangement. See diagram below.
