DescriptionThe Samson PSD sliding door is an ideal solution to many size openings where access is perhaps infrequent. Minimal moving parts ensure minimal maintenance and longevity as no major parts make contact with each other like so many other door types.
The sliding door is constructed using tried and tested double skinned steel sectional door panels secured into a steel outer frame. All doors are made to measure as standard to the millimetre and the door uses top supported sliding track gear without a bottom track required, the door panel being held secure by 2 special upstands holding the underside of the door panel secure. The size and dimensions of the track mechanism reflect the size of the door and come in 3 variations. The doors are manufactured up to 6000mm wide and 6000mm high in either a manual or electric driven operation.
The door panels are available with 5 different front surface finishes, however these all have different standard colours offered. The most popular design with the widest colour range is the Ribbed 'stucco' finish which has a texured finish to the front to help hide the odd small dent or scrape over the years.
The main standard colours are as follows:
RAL 3000, RAL5010, RAL6005, RAL 6009, RAL 7016, RAL 8017, RAL 9002, RAL 9006, RAL 9007, RAL 9016
The inside of the door panels are always RAL 9016 off white as standard.
ApplicationIdeal for many applications in industrial, commmercial or domestic applications.
Any opening where there are obstrutions internally for other doors, limited headroom or a basic need for something simple and easy to use as a manual door but with the reassurance of a very strong 40mm thivh double skinned steel panel arrangement.
