Novoferm Up and Over garage doors are supplied with a high security locking system. Steel shoot bolts lock into brackets on each side of the steel door frame and into the inner side of the door chassis, giving unsurpassed security.
The robust lock body, combined with separate handle and eurocylinder lock protects the door against attempts to gain entry
through attacking the central lock.
In many garages, the width of the door opening can be tight. Traditional up and over doors can cause a problem as the gear arm protrudes at the commonest heights for car wing mirrors to be located. Many Novoferm doors are supplied with MaxDriveThru - raised gear arms which ensure maximum drive through width is available for the average family saloon.
> All Novoferm up and over garage doors are retractable in operation, with multi sprung spring assisted action for smooth running. The door slides up and over into the garage (horizontally on tracks), providing safe and very reliable operation.
> All Novoferm up and over garage doors are supplied pre-hung in a factory finished steel frame, which also makes installation very simple, eliminating the need for a timber frame which can warp or rot over time.
