A steel double skinned sliding industrial or commercial door system can be manufactured to unlimited widths by using a simple stacking panel system. Generally most larger sliding steel door models will have a maximum height of 7 metres, but greater heights can be accommodated by special request. Sliding doors are often used for super wide openings and can provide excellent service for such openings with almost no headroom required, or any internal mechanics either.
External steel sliding doors are perfect for aircraft hangars, boat building yards, waste processing plants and many other buildings where large vehicles are required to enter and exit.
A sliding door when specified correctly can have partial opening positions to accommodate the pedestrians or the maximum opening when required and many variations inbetween.
