Doors by Samson

The Samson steel doorsets displayed below offer fantastic levels of security that are particularly ideal for commercial environments.

The VisionGuard offers not only beautifully glazed profiles, but also proection against break-ins with burglary-resistance classes RC3 and RC4 in accordance ENV 1627.

The SecurGuard and SecurGuard + are designed to stop intruders entering your property, with both ranges offering three doors that are able to resist burglaries for specified amounts of time.

Grilles by Samson

The Vulcan SR2 and Eclipse SR3 are retractable security grilles by Samson that are certified by the LPCB to LPS 1175 SR2 and SR3 respectively. 

Both Secured by Design and insurance approved, these grilles have been bomb-blast tested and are even certified to protect against bolt cutters.

Although tested to different levels of SR standards, both are perfectly ideal for domestic or commercial environments, however the choice between the two will ultimately depend on the threat level of your premisis.

Security Certifications

What security certifications should you be looking out for?

Check that the product has been tested to LPS 1175, and to what level. This is the specification for testing burglary resistance, and is graded 1-6 depending on its security levels.

Also take a look at the RC levels of security, as these indicate the amount of time a product can protect against an intruder.

PAS 24 was updated in February 2016, and is a procedure that tests the enhanced security levels of a product.

Any product that has been accredited with the Secured by Design certification has been tested to standards that are recognised by insurers and the UK Police.
