RollMatic Lath Production
Lath sections for the RollMatic roller garage door are now produced on a new in-house production line in the Hormann Amshausen factory.
The new roller door lath sections will be 77mm high, rather than the previous 75mm, however, for spare parts orders, the 75mm height lath will continue to be available. For any such orders, please ensure that the door serial number is quoted, so we can supply the correct components (wind locks, end caps etc.). With the conversion to in-house production, glazed window sections and ventilation grills can now be ordered for RollMatic external doors.
Other new features for RollMatic doors will be announced in up-coming brochures and price-lists, including the new Decopaint surface finishes and the addition of Cream (RAL 9001) and Light ivory (RAL1015) to the colour range, available from July 2014.
The Hormann Rollmatic remains one of only a few domestic roller doors to have a full specification as standard including a complete hod cover for the curtain roll and matching guides as standard. The use of a tension spring in balancing the door operation means the external motor used is never stressed at any time and the manual override is fairly unique for this type of electric aluminium roller garage door.
