Beware any supplier who says large security shutter sizes are no problem at all, you may well have seen a security shutter or 2 in a high street with the middle of the curtain sagging downwards, all because the slat is being used over its maximum width specification. This will destroy the shutter very quickly placing too much strain on all the small components holding it together.

If vision isn't required then the SeceuroShield 60 is an excellent aluminium extruded curtain shutter available up to 6000mm wide and 5000mm high with any RAL or BS colour possible.
The SeceuroShield 75 is probably the best steel security shutter for the largest sizes. With various formats to choose from depending on the installation and guides required this is a shutter supplied up to 7000mm wide and 5000mm high.
It is available in any RAL or BS colour and also available in 'insurance approved' specification at slightly smaller maximum dimensions. This is probably our most versatile of models.
For any large roller door it is imperative the specification is correct for the application and building fabric. Large roller shutters need to be as safe as possible in all ways as they can cause a lot of damage with the weight and forces in use. Remote control is not normally ever recommended for a security shutter in any commercial application unless a safety edge device is also fitted to the bottom of the curtain. Controlled decent is always required, especially in a busy public high street, the operator of the shutter must always be able to see the complete shutter for safety when operating.
