What Sizes Do The Sectional Doors Go Up To?

Generally 8 metres wide and 3 metres high for a domestic sectional garage door and 10 metres wide and 8 metres high for industrial sectional doors.

Sectional overhead doors by their very nature are very strong as they are manufactured from double skinned, steel, insulated panels between 40mm and 100mm thick with a foam core centre producing a very strong panel section with very little deflection.
As the panels are usually between about 300 and 600mm tall you have several sections in an average domestic or industrial door and when closed the combined strength is excellent giving high levels of wind resistance and superb levels of sound and temperature insulation.

They are technically one of the best types of door for all round performance in either a commercial or domestic environment. Very high levels of insulation are guaranteed and measured by a stated U value.
Fully glazed versions are also very popular for many applications with options for double or triple glazing.

Samson supply domestic and commercial sectional doors from only the very best manufacturers - Hormann, Garador, Carteck to name just a few.
