What sizes do expandable trackless barriers come in?
Generally there are several set sizes for the expandable steel barriers on offer. The maximum width is around 1800mm wide with a maximum height of 2500mm. The collapsible steel gates are trackless and therefore the sag in the barrier when fully extended has a maximum tolerance.
The barrier can be locked together using simple trolley systems with wheels and therefore you can attach as many as you want to cover an unlimited width.
One side of the barrier can always be attached directly to a brick or steel opening and then extended at various angles to suit the control required.
Using the trolley wheels as support for the leading edge of the barrier you extend as required with attachment to other systems when required. Steel pins can be used to drive into the ground for extra stability and to hold the trolleys in place.
There are many standard sizes to buy from stock but the barriers can also be cut down to various heights to accommodate a specific size if required. In standard sizes they are very flexible and can be pulled out without the need to go to the maximum size each time, although the maximum stability is at the width as ordered.
