Do you need a bottom track for an industrial folding door?
No, not with our Adone folding door system, you do not, but this is only up to a maximum size of 11.5m wide and 6m high. Above this size you will require a bottom track for the doors and for other models offering various features
The Samson Adone insulated steel folding door system uses a three sided fixing frame which offers lateral support and a top tracking system for the various folding door arrangements up to an 8 panel maximum size with bi parting arrangement. No floor tracking is required at all, but you do require floor bolt holes and there is a threshold option too if specified.
The beauty of a top hung folding door system is there is no problem with dirt and stones entering a floor track and jamming the doors. The door leaves simply float over the floor and include a weather seal under each door panel.
