We offer either type of operation method to suit. If there are no weight bearing lintels for example then bottom rolling will be required.
Whether the rollers and bearings are at the top or the bottom mostly depends upon the size and weight of the sliding door and of course what restrictions there might be on site and with the actual aperture the door is fitting to.
If the rollers are at the top then the weight of the door is mainly being supported at the top too so the lintel or fixing points at the top need to be capable of carrying the weight.
When the roller are on the bottom of the door the weight and forces are mainly directed to the ground which would be safer in many cases and easier to verify as capable of dealing with the door panel weight.
